Storyboard Rough

The storyboard is completed up and to the point of second chase. The pacing is being redesigned as a last-minute change that will improve pacing and narrative comprehension.

What's Next (after storyboard page 17):

1.) Yuki Onna chases child through winding path. Child tries to escape with proper path home but is blocked and lead into an old, misty graveyard.

2.) Child sees the coast is clear and begins to relax. They take a short rest by a gravestone.

3.) Yuki Onna makes surprise entrance unsuspecting to viewers and (in story) child. The spirit tries to snatch the child with her obi arms but the child makes it out in the nick of time.

4.) With in path to run on, the child runs into the heavily wooded forest until they reach the frozen lake.

5.) Feeling safe the child relaxes close to the frozen shores, but the Yuki Onna arrives before it seems all to calm.

6.) The Yuki Onna "corners" the child onto the ice and it seems that it's all bad for the child.

7/) The child swings wildly their spear to get the Yuki Onna. They smash their weapon into the ice causing a severe crack and break.

8.) The Yuki Onna falls through and it grows quiet as the monster is gone.

9.) With relief, the child carefully makes their way back to shore...or so it seemed until the arm/hand of the Yuki Onna emerges from the water.
